Cruises from Galveston in December 2027

The December 2027 schedule lists 45 cruises from Galveston across nine ships and five cruise lines. Carnival Cruise Line accounts for 20 departures, followed by Royal Caribbean with 11, Disney Cruise Line with six, and MSC Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line with four each.

The month begins with a broad mix of regular winter sailings, then shifts into two distinct holiday windows. Nine departures carry the Christmas tag and eight carry the New Year tag, with one Norwegian Escape sailing included in both groups. Cruises out of Galveston in December 2027 range from 4 to 10 days, so comparing the departure date is as important as comparing the cruise length.

Twelve 4-day cruises and eleven 5-day cruises make short itineraries the largest part of the December schedule. Most visit Cozumel, Progreso, or both. Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Disney all appear in this group, giving the month more than one line choice for a shorter sailing.

Fifteen 7-day cruises form the next-largest group. The remaining choices are four 6-day cruises, two 8-day cruises, and one 10-day cruise. The 10-day Carnival Sunshine departure on December 6 is the only itinerary longer than eight days.

Forty-two departures are primarily classified as Western Caribbean cruises. Cozumel appears on 40 sailings, while Roatan appears on 18, Costa Maya on 15, and Progreso on 10. Harvest Caye is included on all four Norwegian Escape routes, while Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, and Belize City appear on selected longer itineraries.

The three main exceptions have different route structures. Carnival Jubilee operates an 8-day Bahamas cruise on December 19, and Disney Magic follows with a 7-day Bahamas sailing on December 27 that visits Lookout Cay and Castaway Cay. Carnival Sunshine provides the month’s only Eastern Caribbean classification on a 10-day itinerary visiting Celebration Key, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, and Amber Cove.
