Carnival Horizon
Carnival Horizon is a Vista-class ship with SkyRide, Dr. Seuss WaterWorks and an IMAX theater. Family Harbor, Havana and Cloud 9 Spa accommodations add different benefits to the usual interior, ocean view, balcony and suite choices.

The cabin collections change access to specific spaces, while the activity list mixes included attractions with paid options. Compare those benefits with the restaurants and entertainment you expect to use before choosing your room.
SkyRide and the Open Decks
SkyRide is one of Carnival Horizon's distinguishing attractions: you pedal a suspended vehicle around an elevated track above the deck. It is included in the fare, with a minimum height of 54 inches and a maximum weight of 250 pounds per person. Closed-toe athletic shoes are required.
Dr. Seuss WaterWorks supplies the water-slide and splash activities, while SportSquare offers a ropes course, mini-golf and sports. These activities are included, subject to their participation rules. WaterWorks requires toilet-trained children; diapers and swim diapers are not permitted.
The main and aft pool areas give you separate places to swim or sit outside. The Havana pool area has a different access arrangement tied to qualifying accommodations, so check the cabin benefits if that space is part of your plans.
Family Harbor and Havana Change More Than the Decor
Standard cabin choices include interiors, ocean view rooms, balconies and suites. Cove Balconies place the outdoor space closer to the waterline, while selected Deluxe Ocean View layouts add a separate washroom alongside the main bathroom. Check the actual room layout, occupancy and view when comparing categories.
Family Harbor accommodations include access to a dedicated lounge with breakfast, snacks, games and movies. That gives the family a shared place close to its cabin; the lounge is separate from the supervised children's programs.
Havana cabins include access to the Havana pool area, and every guest booked in a Havana cabin must be at least 12. Grand Suites also provide pool access for guests 12 and older. The pool benefit is tied to the accommodation; drinks at Havana Bar are separate purchases.
Check the Meal as Well as the Restaurant Name
Main dining room meals and the Lido buffet are included, as are casual options such as Guy's Burger Joint and BlueIguana Cantina. Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse has a complimentary lunch offering and a paid dinner menu; its beer is a separate purchase.
Cucina del Capitano and JiJi Asian Kitchen charge for dinner on Horizon. Bonsai Teppanyaki and the steakhouse are other paid meal choices. A restaurant's included lunch service does not establish that dinner is included, so review the meal details before reserving.
Regular coffee and tea, lemonade, iced tea and non-bottled water are included at the main dining rooms and Lido restaurant. Alcohol, sodas and specialty coffees cost extra unless an applicable booking benefit or beverage package covers them.
Children's Programs and Adult Time
Camp Ocean runs the included program for ages 2–11, Circle C serves ages 12–14, and Club O2 is for ages 15–17. Registration and session hours matter when arranging time apart. Night Owls is a separate late-night service with additional fees unless a qualifying cabin benefit applies.
For adults, Serenity is an included outdoor retreat for guests 21 and older. Cloud 9 Spa's thermal facilities are for guests 18 and older, with access through a pass or qualifying spa-cabin benefits for the first two adults in the room. Treatments remain additional purchases.
Included Shows and a Paid Cinema Option
Playlist Productions and Punchliner provide included musical shows and comedy, with both family-friendly and adults-only comedy performances. IMAX is a separate ticketed cinema option; check the film rating before choosing a screening with children. The Carnival HUB app gives you the actual entertainment schedule.
