Norwegian Viva

Norwegian Viva brings pool areas, dining and outdoor seating together along Ocean Boulevard. Indulge Food Hall adds included choices from several cuisines, while Viva Speedway and Galaxy Pavilion provide separate-charge activities beyond the pools and dry slides.

Norwegian Viva

You can spend time close to the water without staying on the upper pool deck. When choosing a cabin, check the view and access benefits as carefully as the room layout: a suite name alone does not grant entry to The Haven, and Vibe Beach Club requires its own booking.

Ocean Boulevard Is a Place to Spend the Day

Ocean Boulevard wraps around Norwegian Viva with outdoor seating, dining and places to stop beside the water. Infinity Beach brings infinity-style pools to this promenade, while Oceanwalk adds glass walkways with views down toward the sea. You can move between a walk, a pool break and a casual meal without making the upper pool deck your only outdoor base.

For a change of pace, the three-level Viva Speedway offers paid go-kart racing, and Galaxy Pavilion adds separate-charge virtual-reality games and simulators. The Drop and The Rush are dry slides rather than water rides. Height, weight and footwear rules vary by attraction; check the requirements for each member of your group before booking a paid activity.

Regular outdoor pools and hot tubs are included. Vibe Beach Club offers a separate retreat for guests 18 and older, with pass or cabana access purchased separately. A thermal-suite visit at Mandara Spa is another paid adult option unless your booking explicitly provides access; spa treatments have their own charges.

Indulge Adds Another Way to Eat

Indulge Food Hall serves included dishes from several cuisines, with indoor and outdoor seating. It gives a group a shared place to eat without everyone choosing the same style of food. Drinks and separately priced treats do not become complimentary simply because the meal is included.

Hudson's and The Commodore Room provide included table-service dining; Surfside Café and The Local offer more casual alternatives. NCL's Freestyle Dining lets you choose when to eat in the main restaurants rather than keeping an assigned dinner table and time.

Palomar's seafood, Onda by Scarpetta's Italian cooking and Hasuki's teppanyaki are specialty meals. Budget for them separately or confirm the coverage of your booked dining benefit. Regular coffee, tea and ice water are included, while bar drinks and specialty coffees depend on a purchase or applicable package.

A Suite Name Does Not Establish Haven Access

Viva's accommodations include inside and oceanview rooms, balconies, Club Balcony Suites, other suites and The Haven. Compare the actual view and balcony arrangement: some rooms have partial obstructions, and certain forward-facing balconies use solid railings or windscreens. Family layouts and connecting rooms vary, so check the beds as well as the floor area.

The Haven has a private restaurant, lounge and sundeck with its own pool, supported by butler and concierge service. The Haven sundeck is restricted to guests 16 and older. These facilities belong to Haven bookings; another suite or Club Balcony category does not automatically include them. Solo and Studio categories provide a different option for one guest, with Studio Lounge access attached to qualifying bookings.

Youth Spaces and a Theater That Changes After Dark

Splash Academy offers included sessions for fully toilet-trained children ages 3–12, and Entourage serves teens 13–17. Guppies Open Play is parent-accompanied play for younger children, not a drop-off nursery. Paid Late Night Fun Zone is separate from the regular included program.

Viva Theater & Club can transform from a multilevel performance venue into a nightclub. Syd Norman's Pour House adds a live-music setting, and The Improv at Sea offers comedy. Regular entertainment is included, with charges possible for game-show participation, dining entertainment and drinks. Check the daily program for show reservations and the admission age of each event.
