Carnival Jubilee
Carnival Jubilee combines themed indoor spaces with an outdoor roller coaster, water slides and several casual dining choices. This guide explains the ship's layout, cabin options and the access rules that matter when planning time on board.

Some activities and meals are included, while others depend on your cabin category, the restaurant or a separate purchase. Knowing those differences helps you choose where to spend your time and which extras to budget for.
A Ship Organized Around Different Ways to Spend the Day
Carnival Jubilee is an Excel-class ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line. Its themed zones help divide a large ship into recognizable places: Grand Central centers on live entertainment, Currents uses digital underwater scenes, and The Shores brings together promenade seating and casual food.
Those spaces give you different places to return to during the day. A walk through Currents, lunch near the pool and an evening performance in Grand Central involve different parts of the ship. Check the deck plan when choosing a cabin, especially if you expect to move frequently between your room, the outdoor decks and children's programs.
Included Food and Meals That Cost Extra
Main dining room meals and the Lido buffet provide the basic dining choices. Guy's Burger Joint adds an included burger-and-fries lunch, while Big Chicken serves included breakfast dishes, chicken sandwiches and other casual meals. These give you alternatives to a sit-down meal without making every restaurant complimentary.
Jubilee has an important restaurant-specific rule: your first meal at Cucina del Capitano and your first meal at Chibang! are included; repeat visits carry a charge. Cucina serves Italian dishes, while Chibang! combines Chinese and Mexican choices. Check the Carnival HUB app for operating hours and dining-plan access before arranging your evening.
Emeril's Bistro 717, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse and Bonsai Teppanyaki are additional-cost choices. Regular coffee and tea, lemonade, iced tea and non-bottled water are included at the main dining room and Lido restaurant; cocktails, sodas and specialty coffees need a separate budget or applicable package. Admission to a show or lounge does not include drinks ordered there.
Choose a Cabin for Its Space and Access
The main choices are interior, ocean view, balcony and suite accommodations. Compare the actual cabin layout and sleeping arrangement rather than assuming that every room in a category has the same beds, view or outdoor space.
Family Harbor cabins include access to a dedicated lounge with breakfast and snacks. Havana accommodations provide access to the Havana pool area, and every guest staying in a Havana cabin must be at least 12. These are cabin-linked benefits, not shared facilities included with every booking.
Cloud 9 Spa accommodations include thermal-suite benefits for the first two adults in the room. Thermal-suite access is for guests 18 and older, and treatments remain separate purchases. Guests in other cabin categories need a thermal-suite pass. If spa time is a priority, compare the cabin benefit with the cost of separate access.
Outdoor Activities, Children's Clubs and Adult Space
The Lido pool area and Summer Landing offer different outdoor gathering spots. WaterWorks and SportSquare add included slides, mini-golf, sports and a ropes course. BOLT, the open-air roller coaster, costs extra and has height, weight and riding restrictions; check eligibility before making it part of your family's plans.
Camp Ocean's regular included program serves ages 2–11. Circle C is for ages 12–14, and Club O2 is for ages 15–17. These programs give children and teenagers activities with their own age groups. Night Owls is a separate paid late-night service; check program hours and registration rather than treating the clubs as continuous childcare.
Serenity is an included retreat for guests 21 and older, offering an adult outdoor option away from the family activity areas. Spa treatments cost extra. Choosing a quieter space does not require booking a paid activity, but access rules still differ between Serenity, the spa and cabin-specific areas.
Evenings on Jubilee and the Galveston Schedule
Center Stage and Playlist Productions provide included musical entertainment, while Punchliner offers both family-friendly and adults-only comedy. Piano Bar 88 and the ship's live-music venues provide other ways to spend the evening. Use the onboard program to choose performances and check age restrictions; the venue list is not a fixed nightly timetable.
