Carnival Sunshine

Carnival Sunshine's Serenity retreat extends across three decks, with loungers, a pool and a waterfall. Admission is included for guests 21 and older. If adult pool time is a priority, compare this layout with the shared Lido pool area when deciding where you expect to spend the day.

WaterWorks provides included water-slide activities, including Speedway Splash. SportSquare adds a ropes course, mini-golf and sports. Participation restrictions apply to the slides and ropes course; bring closed-toe athletic shoes for the latter. Children must be toilet trained to use WaterWorks, with no diapers or swim diapers permitted.

Scenic Ocean View cabins use floor-to-ceiling windows facing toward the front of the ship. They offer a different view from a standard ocean view room, while balcony cabins give you private outdoor space. Premium Vista Balconies wrap around the aft corners. Check the specific layout and any obstruction rather than choosing by category name alone.

The Captain's Suite has a separate living room, a large balcony and two full bathrooms. Other suite and cabin layouts differ, so compare the actual sleeping arrangements if several people will share the space.

Cloud 9 Spa cabins include qualifying thermal-suite benefits for the first two adults in the room. Thermal facilities are for guests 18 and older; other guests need a pass, and treatments cost extra. Compare the cabin benefit with separate access if you plan regular spa visits.

Main dining room meals and the Lido buffet are included. Guy's Burger Joint supplies a burger lunch, and BlueIguana Cantina serves included Mexican breakfast and lunch choices. A meal at either provides a casual break between outdoor activities.

For a different evening meal, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, JiJi Asian Kitchen and Cucina del Capitano charge for dinner. The complimentary pasta lunch is a separate service from Cucina's dinner offering. Review the meal, reservation and charge details before arranging your evening.

Regular coffee, tea and non-bottled water are among the included drinks at the main dining rooms and Lido restaurant. Sodas, specialty coffees and alcohol require a separate purchase or suitable package. Havana Bar offers another place for a drink and music, with bar purchases charged separately.
