Norwegian Escape

The Waterfront is Norwegian Escape's outdoor promenade, lined with places to eat, have a drink or pause beside the ocean. It offers a different setting from the pool deck: you can take a walk before dinner or choose outdoor restaurant seating when available. Restaurant and bar purchases follow the venue's own charges.

NCL's Freestyle Dining means your main restaurant meals do not follow a fixed assigned dinner time or table. Taste, Savor and The Manhattan Room provide included table-service dining, while Garden Café offers a buffet. O'Sheehan's adds included pub food in a casual setting; drinks from its bar are a separate consideration.

Cagney's Steakhouse, Le Bistro and Food Republic are specialty restaurants. Their meals cost extra unless covered by the specific dining benefit you booked. Regular coffee, tea and ice water are among the included drinks; soda, alcohol and specialty coffees require separate payment or applicable package coverage. Check what a package actually covers before treating it as an all-inclusive fare.

Norwegian Escape has Studio and other Solo cabin categories for one guest, with Studio Lounge access attached to qualifying bookings. That provides a shared place to meet other solo guests as well as a room of your own. Family Oceanview rooms and connecting cabins offer other ways to arrange a group; compare the exact beds and connection rather than relying on the category name.

Balcony and Club Balcony accommodations provide private outdoor space, with different layouts and balcony sizes. A Club Balcony Suite is a separate category from The Haven. Haven bookings include access to the private courtyard pool, restaurant and lounge, along with butler and concierge service. Some Haven suites sit outside the main Haven complex, so location still matters when comparing rooms.

The multi-level ropes course includes Sky Rail tracks and The Plank extending beyond the ship's side. Bring flat, fully closed shoes, and check height, weight and chaperone rules before joining the course. Aqua Racer and other waterslides add water-based thrills, with separate participation limits. Children must be toilet trained for the aqua park and slides.

Regular outdoor pools and hot tubs are included. Spice H2O provides an adults-only outdoor setting that changes from lounging to evening entertainment. Vibe Beach Club is another option for guests 18 and older, but it requires a purchased pass or cabana booking; space is limited.

Mandara Spa's Thermal Suite offers heated loungers and heat-and-water facilities under separate access terms. Budget for a pass unless your booking explicitly includes it. Thermal access is for adults 18 and older, and treatments are additional purchases.
