Symphony of the Seas

Symphony of the Seas gives Central Park, the Boardwalk and the active pool decks distinct roles in a day aboard. Neighborhood-facing balconies change the cabin experience, while waterslides, a dry slide and shows on water, ice and stage add variety beyond swimming and dining.

Symphony of the Seas

Think about which neighborhood you would return to most often, then compare the cabin's view and location. Included food is spread around the ship, while specialty meals, premium drinks and suite-only access need separate checks.

Central Park, Boardwalk and the Pool Deck

Symphony of the Seas is an Oasis Class ship with open-air neighborhoods set between its accommodation blocks. Central Park has planted walkways and places to sit over coffee or a drink. The Boardwalk brings a carousel, casual food and the AquaTheater together, giving families another place to spend time beyond the pools.

The active decks offer The Perfect Storm waterslides, FlowRider surfing and a zip line above the Boardwalk. Ultimate Abyss is a dry slide, so it is a different experience from the waterslides. Standard slides and zip-line rides are included; height, weight and other participation conditions vary by activity.

Splashaway Bay provides children's water play, while the shared pools suit a more conventional swim. Adults ages 18 and older can use the included Solarium. Its separate setting gives you another choice for pool time, although drinks from its bar remain paid purchases.

Choose Where Your Balcony Faces

A balcony on Symphony can face the ocean, Central Park or the Boardwalk. Central Park View Balcony rooms overlook greenery and walkways; Boardwalk View Balcony rooms face the activity of that neighborhood. Choose an Ocean View Balcony category when an outward-facing sea view is your priority.

There are also interior rooms with neighborhood-facing windows, so a view does not necessarily mean outdoor space. For a family sharing a cabin, compare the listed beds, occupancy and connecting-room options in the exact category rather than assuming every room accommodates the same group.

Suite dining and lounge benefits follow Royal Suite Class tiers. Sea Class offers Coastal Kitchen dinner subject to availability and reservations; Sky and Star include all-day access. A suite booking does not automatically include every private lounge, specialty meal or drink, so check the benefits attached to your category.

Food Near the Places You Use

Park Café makes an included sandwich or salad convenient during a Central Park break. El Loco Fresh offers casual Mexican food, while the Main Dining Room and Windjammer cover seated meals and buffet dining. Café Promenade and Sorrento's add snacks and pizza without a specialty-dining reservation.

For an extra-cost meal, Hooked Seafood emphasizes coastal dishes and Wonderland takes a more theatrical approach to dining. Chops Grille, Jamie's Italian and Izumi are other specialty choices. Playmakers food, Sugar Beach treats and premium drinks also need their own budget. Dining or beverage packages cover only their stated venues and items.

Basic coffee, tea and ice water are available without an extra charge in complimentary dining venues. Bar access does not include alcohol, soda or bottled water. Spa services and internet access are additional purchases.

Youth Spaces and Shows on Water, Ice and Stage

Adventure Ocean provides included regular children's activities, grouped by age, with full toilet training required. Teens have separate social activities, while Royal Babies & Tots nursery care and late-night youth care carry fees. Confirm your child's group, registration and available care before arranging an adults' dinner.

The AquaTheater hosts diving and aquatic performances, Studio B stages ice shows, and the theater offers stage productions, including Hairspray. Regular shows are included, with reservations recommended where offered. A Central Park stroll or live music at a lounge gives you another way to finish the evening.
