Take the Port Bolivar Ferry to Galveston, Texas. The Ferry is free and is open to the general public. One ferry operates 24 hours a day and a second ferry operates from 6:30 AM and runs for 8 to 12 hours, depending on traffic. The ferry ride is approximately 20 minutes.
